For Downers Grove, for example, the day you can water your lawn is based on the numbering of your house. If your house ends in an off number, such as 5711, you can water your lawn on odd days of the week. If your house ends in an even number, say 5712, you can only water your lawn during even days of the week. Another thing to be aware of, is that you can only legally water your lawn during certain times of the day. It is permitted that you can water your lawn between 4 a.m.and 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. on your watering day.
